TJX Commits to Net Zero by 2040

TJX, an American multinational off-price department store corporation, is committed to pursuing initiatives that are environmentally responsible and smart for their business. TJX’s goal to achieve net zero greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions in their operations (Scopes 1 and 2) by 2040 is one way they are working to help mitigate climate impact. Along the way, TJX is continuing to make progress against its interim, science-based target, which is a 55% absolute reduction in GHG emissions from direct operations by fiscal 2030 (against a fiscal 2017 baseline). TJX also intends to source 100% renewable energy for use in their operations by 2030.
