E Ink, Taiwanese maker of electronic display technology and a leader in Corporate Sustainability, pledged to achieve Net Zero Carbon Emissions by 2040. The pledge is a natural extension of their Net-Zero journey which began when the company started improving energy use efficiency and reducing overall consumption of environmental resources. E Ink announced a three-phase plan to reach their commitment of Net-Zero carbon emissions. For starters, E Ink aims to achieve a target of 40 percent renewable energy use by 2025. Following this they are aiming for 100 percent renewable energy use by 2030 to achieve the RE100 target. Finally complete Net-Zero throughout the product development cycle, manufacturing cycle, and corporate operations by the year 2040.
